The learning process has a strong practical component and students are encouraged to develop technical skills and a creative, problem solving and entrepreneurial mind-set. The course has continual and progressive evaluation that includes team projects at the end of each semester. Students can also develop their final project with a company or research group.

Recently, the ISEP students developed projects on e-commerce platforms, optimization of information flows, mapping and improvement of industrial processes, among other examples.
